Visualize Your End-to-End Supply Chain Beyond the Ocean
Standard container tracking stops at the port gate or only shows vessel positions. The Pier2Pier Interactive World Map, infrastructure mapping, expands visibility across the entire global logistics network by mapping maritime terminals, rail ramps, inland depots, and key transport hubs in your planning process.
Key Infrastructure Mapping Features
- Consolidated Multi-Modal View: See ports, inland transport hubs and ocean vessels simultaneously on a single interactive map interface.
- Terminal & Depot Intelligence: Identify major container terminals, feeder ports, and inland rail hubs to anticipate potential congestion points.
- Geospatial Visualization: View exact locations and ports to better estimate the best transport solutions.
- Show old vessel positions: This gives you an overview of all container vessel calls within the selected locations, helping you assess over a 24 hour period vessel traffic density, port activity, and potential congestion or berth delays.

In the next window you can for search for a specific location to find the nearest seaport or select a country/port from the dropdown lists.

Below we have used New York. Seaports are marked with yellow pins. Rail ramps and inland ports are marked with blue pins. (RR) is rail ramps, and (IP) is inland ports.

Default you will see no vessel positions. You can ad that from the dropdown list.

When you rest your cursor over a coloured dot you will see vessel details.
