Default Settings: Set preferred equipment in “My Settings” to automatically initialize all new 3D calculations with your standard setup.

Future Upgrade: User-defined custom pallet support is currently in development and coming soon.

In this guide, we cover how to customize and save your own equipment sizes within Pier2Pier’s 3D Cargo Load Calculator. Step-by-Step Guide

Creating Custom Equipment During a Load Calculation When setting up a new loading calculation, simply input your custom dimensions and save the configuration. Once saved, it is automatically stored in your personal profile (for example: Special Truck 1 or Special Truck 2).

Reusing Saved Equipment for Future Loadings The next time you calculate a shipment, navigate to “Create or select customized equipment”. Here, you will find all your saved equipment templates ready to be added to your current calculation with a single click.

Managing & Editing Equipment Data You can view and edit the specifications of your custom equipment anytime under your saved templates to ensure your measurements remain accurate.

Setting Default Equipment in “My Settings” If you frequently use the same container or vehicle type, go to “My Settings” and set your preferred equipment as default. Every new calculation will then automatically start with your selected setup (e.g., defaulting to Special Truck 1+2).
